Ex-Boot worker shares best gift sets for Christmas, including £45 box worth £207

When it comes to Christmas gifting, I want to be able to go online and buy almost everything in one fell swoop. There are few retailers that offer such a breadth of gifting options, but health and beauty favourite Boots strikes a balance between quality, value for money and variety that’s impossible to ignore. This year, the high-street retailer has launched arguably its biggest and best range yet. And as someone who’s been covering shopping deals since 2022, and spent four years behind the Boots counter prior, I recently got a sneak peek at the Boots festive showcase to see what’s worth snapping up early. Whether shoppers are looking for gifts for their mum, dad, siblings, pre-teens or even grandparents, there really is something for everyone. From luxury beauty boxes to exclusive beauty icons sets and returning Star Gifts , here are the standout deals that deliver serious savings and guaranteed smiles on December 25. New for 2025, Boots has launched their Beauty Icons sets, which will see 16 branded beauty sets released for £35 in the lead up to Christmas. Each Friday sees a brand new gift set launch from top brands like Redken and Sculpted By Aimee, but my top pick for the season is this NARS set. Worth over £76, it’s priced at £35, saving £41.44 in total. Featuring three NARS cult-favourites, it’s perfect for anyone who loves the brand, or adores makeup but doesn’t always splurge on the pricier brands. Inside, there’s a NARS Afterglow Lip Balm in the shade Orgasm, NARS Mini Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder and NARS The Multiple in the shade Orgasm Crave – products and shades that will suit everyone. It’s a gift that’s guaranteed to be loved, however, only one of the items is full sized, with two travel sizes that could leave shoppers wishing for the full product, especially if you fall in love with one of the shades. If NARS feels too spendy, No7 also has strong holiday gift sets at Boots this year. The No7 Pro Artist Shimmer & Glow Gift Set stars an eye palette, liquid blush and highlighter/bronzer compact for £20. Though not officially part of the Christmas gifting range, Boots also has a number of beauty boxes that are essentially ready-made beauty and skincare hampers – and the K Beauty Skincare Box is a great sampler of trending Korean skincare. Ideal for K beauty enthusiasts looking to add some new products to their routine, or perfect to stow away for Christmas, the Boots K Beauty Skincare Edit is worth £89 and normally retails for £35. For a limited time, shoppers can bag an additional £7 in savings when they use the code BEAUTY20 at checkout, taking their total to £28. The box contains a variety of skincare treats from the Tocobo Coconut Clay Cleansing Oil , which retails for £18 alone on Boots.com, while the Purito Mighty Bamboo Cream usually costs full price. Alternatively, early Christmas shoppers and skincare enthusiasts may wish to check out the LookFantastic X Beauty of Joseon Rice and Shine Set which is worth £50 but retails for £39. Harnessing the power of Korean ingredients, the set contains three popular products and a mini mirror. Offering even larger savings making it a great way to save on stocking fillers is the Boots Autumn Warmers Beauty Box. Filled with 11 products, it boasts a total value of £206.65, but with a £45 price-tag, offering customers £161.65 off the RRP. That works out at £4.09 per item inside. The haul features eight full-sized products and three travel-friendly picks spanning skincare, haircare, fragrance and beauty items that deliver “moments of indulgence” for any beauty routine. Shoppers can expect to find brands like No7, Wella, NEOM, Sol de Janeiro and more. The included Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask is worth £34 alone and promises to keep skin feeling fresh despite the seasonal winds. Boots’ regularly rotating Star Gifts are always a great source of present inspiration, and the Benefit I Spy Beauty Full Face Gift Set is no exception. It’s so popular that it previously sold out after landing exclusively at the retailer, but is back in stock and better than half price. On offer for £34.50 with its contents worth £69.19, this collection contains mini versions of six of the premium beauty brand’s bestsellers. With mascara, blush, bronzer, primer, lip and cheek stain, and brow setting gel to discover inside, it spells the perfect opportunity for makeup lovers to try out these popular products for less. Packaged in a colourful gift box to make for a Christmas present that’s sure to impress, the gift set offers some serious savings with the Benefit website currently offering just three minis for £35 , meaning Boots shoppers are effectively getting twice the amount of makeup for their money. This isn’t the only collection that Benefit fans can treat themselves to as gift sets begin to land in stock ahead of the festive season. The brand has released its Glam Cube Makeup Advent Calendar , which doesn’t come cheap at £135 but includes 24 beauty must-haves worth over £266. For the gents, my current top Star Gift set pick is the Osprey London The Classic Collection – a winter warmer and pamper pack that’s as stylish as it is beautifully scented. The star of the set is a stunning checked scarf with tassels, ideal for wrapping up in the colder months, alongside a matching pair of touch screen gloves. The set is complete with a body wash and aftershave balm featuring fragrance notes of bergamot, vetiver and leather accord . As grand as the gift set is, there are better standalone offers when it comes to men’s gifting at Boots, like the BOSS Bottled Night Eau de Toilette 200ml , reduced from £123 to £50. Beauty advent calendars have become a much-loved festive tradition. While some may choose to treat themselves to a countdown, they also make lavish gifts and stocking fillers. Costing £150, Boots’ 24 Day Premium Beauty Advent Calendar contains 25 products spread across 24 days with a total value of £612.50, which saves £462.50 overall. Of the 25 items, 17 are full-sized , with a carefully crafted mix of skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare from some of the biggest names in the industry. Think cult-classics from Elemis, Estee Lauder and MAC, alongside trending powerhouses like Sol de Janeiro and Milk Makeup. One of the products inside, the Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturiser 50ml, is worth £62 alone, which makes up a hefty portion of the price you pay for the entire calendar. Throw in brands like Nars, Too Faced and Laneige and it’s easy to see how quickly the value racks up. As part of the set, each one works out at around £6 apiece – prime for divvying up between beauty aficionados. I’m reliably told by my pre-teen niece that White Fox is the ‘it’ brand for 2025 – so it’s no surprise that Boots have an exclusive first-of-its-kind gifting range with them. The Vol 1. Tote Bag costs £50 , and gets customers a puffy tote bag perfect for sleepovers or weekend plans. Inside the bag, which has plenty of room for essentials, there’s a statement water bottle, creamy vanilla and sun-kissed peach fragranced hair and body mist and Clear to Me lip balm. Finding gifts that are appropriate for, but equally appreciated by, teens can be tricky, but White Fox strikes the perfect balance. The whole range is also on three-for-two , so shoppers can build their own White Fox bundle and get the cheapest free. And finally, for those who’ve put anti-ageing at the top of their Christmas wish list, there’s the No7 Future Renew Regime Set . Within this bundle, customers will discover five skincare essentials designed to tackle signs of skin deterioration within just four weeks. The centrepiece of the collection is a full-size No7 Future Renew Serum (50ml), which normally costs £47.95 on its own. As part of the offer, it works out at £7.70 – that’s better than a £10 Tuesday deal. As well as the best-selling serum, the set also includes the Future Renew night moisturiser, day moisturiser, eye treatment, and peptide face wash – all for less than customers would usually pay for the serum alone. The complete collection is developed to tackle fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, loss of firmness, and lack of radiance. It’s also part of the three-for-two offer.
