However, his mind did not work at that point, and he kicked out at the two following GTS. “In the moment of the pin, he squeezed my arm—or my leg, or… I don’t, to be honest, it was so long ago I don’t remember exactly what it was. But it’s what we call in the industry ‘the office’ or ‘the Iggy.’ You generally do it to get someone’s attention. There wasn’t a lot of time to think about this. The 49-year-old discussed that CM Punk did not react well to him kicking out on his GTS. However, instead of confronting him, Punk went straight to Tony Khan and the AEW management. In the same YouTube video, Fish said that he does not feel it was a masculine move. The former NXT star added that The Second City Saint should have confronted him instead of rushing to Tony Khan and the management.“When we got to the back, my expectation was that I would encounter my opponent, we’d discuss it. That opportunity was not given to me. What was given to me was Mr. Brooks in the ear of Tony Khan. To me, it was super passive-aggressive, and it’s not the way men — it’s not the way masculine people — handle business.” said Fish [H/T: Ringside News]While the botch itself does not bother Bobby Fish, he believes the aftermath left a bad taste for him about CM Punk and his work ethic.
