The Infinity Castle arc is the climactic battleground of Demon Slayer, bringing nearly every remaining major Demon Slayer together against Muzan Kibutsuji’s army. It is the final chance for each character to prove their strength, endurance, and growth before the ultimate showdown. With demons at their strongest and no room for hesitation, every Slayer’s skill is pushed to the absolute limit.
Not every fighter contributes equally, of course. Some are veterans who have shaped the Corps for years, while others are younger Slayers still testing their potential in the harshest of circumstances. To understand the hierarchy of power, here is a full ranking of every Demon Slayer featured in the Infinity Castle film, ordered from the weakest to the strongest.
Genya Shinazugawa
Genya’s fighting style is unlike any other Demon Slayer, relying on his ability to consume demon flesh to temporarily gain their powers. While this ability gives him bursts of strength and regeneration, it also comes with significant risks. Genya lacks traditional breathing techniques, swordsmanship, and stamina compared to his peers, leaving him vulnerable without support.
Despite these limitations, Genya is shown running to help his brother and he later proves his worth by assisting against formidable Upper Moons. His ability to adapt and survive impossible odds demonstrates resilience beyond raw skill. Still, his dependence on others to finish fights makes him weaker in comparison to the seasoned Hashira and more versatile fighters. In the grand scheme, Genya is brave but far from the top tier.
Jigoro Kuwajima
The former Thunder Hashira, Jigoro Kuwajima, only appears in flashbacks during the arc, but his presence is significant through Zenitsu’s growth. As Zenitsu’s master, his teachings form the foundation for Zenitsu’s eventual strength. Even though he’s no longer an active fighter, his legacy continues to influence the battlefield.
Jigoro’s ranking reflects his historical strength rather than present capability. In his prime, he was a formidable swordsman specializing in Thunder Breathing, but by the events of Infinity Castle, his role is more symbolic. He earns respect as a mentor but falls behind the others who directly risk their lives in combat during the arc.
Kanao Tsuyuri
Kanao enters Infinity Castle with the quiet determination that has defined her journey. While she initially struggled with emotional expression and decision-making, her training and battles sharpened her into a skilled Flower Breathing user. Her agility, sharp reflexes, and visual acuity make her a dangerous opponent against demons.
Still, compared to the upper echelon of Hashira, Kanao lacks the same battle-hardened experience. Her endurance and overall destructive capability aren’t as pronounced, keeping her in the lower half of this ranking. However, her role in supporting Tanjiro and proving her independence in battle against Doma showcases how far she’s come, even if she’s not among the most powerful.
Inosuke Hashibira
Inosuke thrives in chaotic battles, and Infinity Castle provides the perfect environment for his wild fighting style. His Beast Breathing is unpredictable, making it difficult for demons to anticipate his movements. His enhanced senses and flexibility further amplify his unorthodox combat approach, allowing him to stay on equal footing against deadly foes.
However, Inosuke’s recklessness often leaves him vulnerable. While his raw power and instincts are exceptional, he lacks the precision and discipline of the Hashira. In a group filled with masters of breathing techniques, Inosuke’s impulsive nature keeps him from reaching the higher ranks. Still, his contributions in the arc highlight his courage and durability and will continue to do so in the final two Demon Slayer films.
Mitsuri Kanroji
The Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, shines in Infinity Castle thanks to her unmatched flexibility and raw physical power. Her Love Breathing style allows her to deliver devastatingly fast and unpredictable strikes, enhanced by her naturally superhuman strength. Few fighters can match her unique blend of grace and force in battle.
Despite her strengths, Mitsuri struggles with stamina and durability against the most relentless Upper Moons. She relies heavily on her speed and agility to compensate for her lack of defensive endurance. While she’s a top-tier Hashira, the gap between her and the strongest members of the Corps becomes evident in the arc’s most brutal confrontations, and she is not shown to her full potential yet in the first Infinity Castle film.
Obanai Iguro
The Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro, is a disciplined and calculating fighter whose Snake Breathing provides precision and adaptability in confined spaces like the Infinity Castle. His partnership with Mitsuri highlights his tactical nature, as he often balances her explosive fighting style with his methodical movements. Together, they make an effective duo against overwhelming odds.
Obanai’s greatest strength is his composure. Unlike some of his peers, he rarely allows emotion or recklessness to cloud his judgment. Even so, his techniques don’t possess the sheer destructive force of the most dominant Hashira. He ranks comfortably in the mid-tier, respected for his sharp strategy but overshadowed by rawer displays of power.
Sanemi Shinazugawa
Sanemi, the Wind Hashira, embodies ferocity. His Wind Breathing techniques are violent and aggressive, designed to overwhelm enemies with sheer speed and force. His combat experience and unyielding willpower make him one of the most dangerous fighters in the Corps. In Infinity Castle he is not shown doing much, but later Sanemi proves his worth by standing firm against impossibly strong Upper Moons.
What sets Sanemi apart is his durability. His body can endure wounds that would incapacitate most others, allowing him to fight far longer than expected. Still, his impulsive rage sometimes leaves him vulnerable to mistakes, keeping him from surpassing the Corps’ most elite. Nevertheless, his performance in the arc cements him as one of the toughest Hashira.
Muichiro Tokito
The Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, demonstrates prodigious skill despite his young age. His Mist Breathing allows him to disorient enemies while delivering decisive strikes. Muichiro’s sharp focus and adaptability make him one of the most impressive fighters, and his role in previous battls against Gyokko already highlighted his potential as one of the Corps’ strongest.
In Infinity Castle, Muichiro’s youthful brilliance is undeniable, though his inexperience limits his overall placement here as the film did not focus on him like later ones will. Against the most relentless demons, experience often trumps potential, and Muichiro’s youth keeps him from matching the absolute top tier. Still, his ranking among the Hashira at such a young age is remarkable in itself.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
Zenitsu surprises everyone with his growth during the Infinity Castle arc. Previously known for his cowardice, he emerges as a calm and determined warrior when it matters most. His mastery of Thunder Breathing’s First Form and his unique development of a personal Seventh Form elevate him into the ranks of the Corps’ most powerful fighters.
Zenitsu’s speed is nearly unmatched. His lightning-fast strikes allow him to overcome even the deadliest opponents before they can react. While he doesn’t possess the same versatility as some Hashira, his specialized mastery of speed and precision earns him a higher ranking than many peers. His transformation makes him one of the arc’s most shocking standouts.
Shinjuro Rengoku
Though no longer an active member of the Corps, Shinjuro Rengoku appears in flashbacks, reminding audiences of his role as the Flame Hashira before Kyojuro. His skills in Flame Breathing were formidable, but his bitter disillusionment with the Corps diminished his legacy. Still, his presence carries symbolic weight during the arc.
Compared to other fighters, Shinjuro’s absence from the battlefield means his strength is only acknowledged through memory. Once a respected warrior, his lack of involvement in the arc prevents him from achieving a higher ranking. He stands as a reminder of what could have been, but his power doesn’t compare to the living Hashira fighting in the castle.
