"There were some pretty s--tty roles," she recalled. "That's all they would say at the beginning—'she's too ethnic for this, too ethnic for that.' It was so crazy. That was the constant note." And overall, Eva found that the lifestyle in Hollywood wasn’t what worked best for her. "I feel like with my kind of spirit I'd have found unhealthy behaviors anywhere," she explained. "I was so hungry for life. I still am. But I was leaving no stone unturned. I was like, 'What's over here? What's over here?'"
