Europe’s biggest sneaker festival is returning to Glasgow this autumn, promising a day packed with rare trainers, streetwear, live DJs and interactive experiences for fans of footwear and fashion. Crepe City will take over the Scottish Events Campus (SEC) on Sunday, October 12, following a hugely successful debut in 2022 and increasingly popular follow-up events. The festival has grown to host more than 120 vendors offering everything from the latest hyped releases to rare, vintage trainers sought after by collectors. Streetwear fans will also find top UK brands, with Palace, Supreme and The Hundreds among those represented, Glasgow Live reports. Running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Crepe City is open to all ages, with free entry for children under 10. Tickets are available online, including an early entry option from 11 a.m., which includes a drink voucher sponsored by Desperado Beer, with soft drink alternatives available. Posting on the festival website, the team described Crepe City as “the leading event in Europe” and urged fans not to miss it. “Join the best sneaker sellers as they showcase the rarest and most sought after sneakers. If you are a sneakerhead or a streetwear fan, this is not to be missed.” Crep Protect will be at the event to help visitors keep their trainers in top condition while offering prizes through their Cop or Flop Keymaster Machine. Festival-goers can also enjoy a Monster Energy booth with gaming activations and prizes, street food and a bar, plus a team of DJs spinning hip-hop, rap and more throughout the day. A highlight for streetwear enthusiasts is the Garmentz Lab pop-up shop , where fans of Stone Island can find pieces priced below retail. “Don’t miss the Garmentz Lab pop up shop, if you are into Stone Island you don’t want to miss this. The guys will have some amazing pieces priced below retail,” the organisers said. Crepe City first launched in London in 2009, starting in a basement before growing into Europe’s largest sneaker festival. The Glasgow edition has quickly established itself as a must-visit event, offering visitors a rare chance to browse thousands of exclusive trainers in one venue. The SEC location provides an accessible and spacious setting, with wheelchair access throughout the venue. The event’s organisers emphasise that Crepe City is designed to be a full-day experience, combining shopping, entertainment and hands-on activations. With hundreds of rare trainers on display, streetwear brands in attendance, live music , gaming activations and food stalls, Crepe City promises something for every fan. Early entry tickets give visitors the first pick of rare sneakers, while general admission still offers access to the full range of vendors and activities.
