Brussels, October 27 (QNA) - European stocks hit another record daily high today, extending last week's gains as signs of easing trade tensions between the United States and China boosted investor risk appetite. The pan-European STOXX 600 index edged up 0.1 percent to 576.37 points, after closing at an all-time high on Friday. The mining and technology sectors each rose 1.1 percent, while the utilities index fell 0.6 percent.Shares of Novartis fell 1 percent, and HSBC shares lost 1.3 percent. (QNA)
