The Washington Commanders will have to play without young star quarterback Jayden Daniels during their Week 3 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury during the team’s Week 2 loss on Thursday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. There is some concern about Daniels after suffering the injury due to how much he has been getting hit.Add in the fact that the Commanders have a rough history when it comes to dual-threat quarterbacks and it gets even more concerning. She is very concerned about his ability to stay healthy and on the field in the future.”Through the first two weeks of the season, he leads all quarterbacks in QB contact,” Kimes said. “He led all quarterbacks in QB contact last year. It’s just not sustainable.”Plenty of mobile quarterbacks have faced issues that hampered their careers due to injuries. Daniels has been taking a lot of hits through his first year and two games. Something has to give if the Commanders want to keep their young quarterback leading the way for years to come.Last season as a rookie, Daniels put up big numbers and led Washington on a run to the NFC Championship Game.
