Esha Deol isn’t closing the chapter on love just yet. A year after her divorce with Bharat Takhtani, the actress says she is “single” but still believes in the magic of falling in love again.
Esha Deol Talks About Love After Separation
The actress shared her candid thoughts on relationships post-divorce. Calling love “the most beautiful feeling and phase in a person’s life,” she said, “I will always believe in falling in love. One should keep falling in love.” While she admitted she is not dating anyone at the moment, Esha also pointed out that romance should not completely define a person. “Having love and companionship in life is wonderful. However, it is not your be-all and end-all,” she said.

On Co-Parenting With Bharat Takhtani
Esha and Bharat, who went their separate ways in 2024 after 11 years of marriage, continue to co-parent their daughters Radhya, 8, and Miraya, 6. “Bharat and I are co-parenting our daughters. That’s something you chose to do because you love your kids so much,” she revealed.
Bharat has since moved on and recently confirmed his new relationship on Instagram with entrepreneur Meghna Lakhani Talreja. In the photo, Bharat was seen holding Meghna close as they looked lost in each other’s eyes. In the caption, Esha Deol’s ex-husband wrote, “Welcome to the family, it’s official”.
Meghna also re-shared the story on her Instagram handle. Besides this, she also dropped another picture in which she was seen posing with Bharat

Looking back at her acting journey, Esha admitted audiences were kinder to her than star kids today. She criticised trolling, saying, “Trolling is not right; you can’t do that to every kid born to an actor who’s making their debut. This is nonsense.

Bharat was married to actor Esha Deol for 11 years. The couple tied the knot in 2012 but parted ways in 2024. In a joint statement, they confirmed their split was both “mutual and amicable”, adding that the well-being of their two young daughters, Radhya and Miraya, would remain their highest priority. “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected,” the statement read.
