Erdinger Oktoberfest brings a taste of Germany to Mojácar

THE WEEKEND of Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12 saw a special taste of Germany come to Mojácar: Hotel Continental’s Erdinger Oktoberfest was a booming success, and organisers – and the residents who visited the event – are already looking forward to next year, which promises to be even bigger.

Organisers extend their thanks for smash success event

For now, the Hotel representatives and organisers are extending their sincerest gratitude for the visitors and staff who made the event possible. “From the team at Hotel Continental Mojácar, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who made the Erdinger Oktoberfest Hotel Continental event possible this past weekend,” said organisers from the venue.

“We are especially grateful to the Mojácar Town Hall, our sponsors, the musical groups La Duda Rock, Tyris, and Los Trifásikos, as well as our entire team and hotel staff, whose dedication and hard work were key to the success of the event.”

A German bubble in the heart of Mojácar

The event saw a variety of visitors – both seasoned regulars and new faces – who came to enjoy the beers and delightful Oktoberfest atmosphere. Decorated in traditional Bavarian-style décor, with German food available including sausages and pretzels, and beers flowing from the taps, expatriates gathered together to share laughs, drinks, and enjoy the spectacular live music by local talents in the idyllic Hotel Continental. With German flags, traditional Oktoberfest outfits, and of course, mouth-watering, ice-cold beers, the event was a Deutschland bubble in the heart of Mojácar.

“Of course, a big thank you also goes out to our loyal guests and to the many new faces who joined us. It was a true pleasure celebrating with you!” said the Hotel Continental representatives.

Next year’s event will be bigger, better, with more beer

The venue closed out their thanks by promising that next year will bring even more surprises, even more live entertainment, and even more beer: “The event was a great success, and we hope to repeat it next year – this time, even better!”
