The English Open snooker champion will be decided this Sunday in Brentwood, Essex. The BetVictor English Open, part of the BetVictor Home Nations Series, has been a fixture on the calendar since 2016. Liang Wenbo was the inaugural winner, while last year saw Neil Robertson secure the title by defeating Wu Yize 9-7 in the final, earning his 24th ranking event title. However, the Australian was knocked out in the fourth round this week by Jackson Page. We now eagerly await to see who will lift the Steve Davis trophy at this year’s tournament, which marks the fourth ranking event of the 2025/26 snooker season. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the final, as well as the eye-watering prize money up for grabs. The final will be broadcast live in the UK on TNT Sports, and you can also stream the action on discovery+. Freeview channel DMAX has shown all of the weekend sessions and will continue to do so for the final. For those in mainland Europe, Eurosport and locally relevant streaming platforms such as discovery+ and HBO Max are your go-to to catch the final. The final is scheduled to get underway with the afternoon session at 1pm BST, with the action set to continue with the evening session at 7pm BST. The winner of this year’s English Open will pocket the same amount that Robertson did last year. The victor receives £100,000, while the runner-up is awarded £45,000 from a total prize pool of £550,400. Each semi-finalist received £21,000 while the quarter-finalists got £13,200 each. Additionally, a high break earns £5,000, but that sum will now be divided as more than one player has accomplished the feat.
