Harry Brook-led England will host Aiden Markram’s South Africa in the first T20I of the three-match series on Wednesday (September 10). The series opener will be played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. SA clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 and will aim to win the T20I series too. The visitors chased down the target of 137 with ease to win the opening game. They successfully defended a 331-run target in the second ODI to win the game and clinch the series. England registered a huge 342-run win in the third ODI to end the series on a winning note. They piled up a big total of 414 on the board and then bowled out the visitors for a mere total of 72. Jofra Archer, who was bestowed with the Player of the Match award for his four-fer in the third ODI, is part of the playing XI for the opening T20I. England have already announced their playing XI for the fixture. After the first T20I in Cardiff, the action will move to Manchester for the second T20I, scheduled for September 12. The third and final T20I of the series will be played on September 14 in Nottingham.
