Emmerdale's Eden Taylor-Draper 'so proud' of former co-star in new career move

Emmerdale’s Eden Taylor-Draper shared how “proud” she is of former co-star Daisy Campbell following her exit from the soap. Starring as Belle Dingle since 2005, Eden won the British Soap Award for best young actor in 2007 and won it again in 2013. Eden has tackled some big storylines including her most recent one that saw Belle become a victim as husband Tom King ran a vicious campaign of abuse against her. She finally received justice as the villain was sentenced to three years in prison after subjecting Belle to assault and coercive control in December. Tom reprised his role briefly as he sat rather glumly in his prison cell, and met with Belle one last time hoping to change her mind about getting a divorce. During her time on the soap, Eden often shares snaps of her hanging out with co-stars away from the Dales. Taking to her Instagram, Eden was full of praise for former Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell who left the soap at the end of last year. She wrote: “went to see @that.pilatesplace studio can’t wait to come back for a class!! so proud of you @daisycampbellofficial”. Daisy joined Emmerdale in 2011 as Amelia Spencer and was involved in some big storylines throughout the years. Her exit came after Amelia’s involvement in the Tom King and Belle Dingle saga. Amelia started a relationship with Tom, believing that Belle was ill and lying about his emotional and physical attacks. Amelia decided it was time for her and Esther to leave the village for a fresh start in December last year. The actress recently confirmed that she has opened Pontefract’s first reformer Pilates studio as her next big venture since leaving the Dales. She gushed: “I’m so proud to say that I’m officially launching my first ever business @that.pilatesplace This has been the hardest secret to keep. “This year I am so proud of myself. I’ve pushed myself in so many ways. In ways, I never could’ve never imagined. My Pinterest 2025 vision board has come to life “Beginning of this year I had so much anxiety, after losing my job last winter, and really didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I always knew I wanted to run my own business one day but didn’t know exactly where to begin. After I reflected on what I really wanted to do, I did a level 3 mat and reformer Pilates course over the spring and I’m so proud of myself for passing.”
