There's dark and worrying scenes ahead on Emmerdale that could allude to tragedy in the Dales. After the heartbreaking scenes that aired on Monday, new spoilers have teased the fallout as the soap continues to tackle the topic of modern slavery. Bear Wolf is still suffering his ordeal next week, as is a recaptured Anya who was confirmed to be trapped, like Bear, on Monday. Away from the farm though, April Windsor is also still being exploited by villains Ray Walters and Celia Daniels. Fans will know April's being used in a different way, initially tasked with drug drop-offs, before a sickening twist saw Celia and Ray trying to force her into sleeping with their clients for money. April and Bear may be having different ordeals, but they are both trapped by the same people. Things escalate next week, with deadly consequences teased for three characters in upsetting scenes. April is arrested, something she tries to keep from her father Marlon Dingle. Celia finds out and warns Ray, with them worried she will talk. A terrified April protests her innocence, and an oblivious Dylan Penders is worried to learn no one has heard from April back in the village - clearly fearful that Ray or Celia have hurt her. Back at the station, April is quizzed about drugs found, but she remains silent. It's then that DS Clarke asks if she’s being exploited, and April looks vulnerable as she contemplates confessing all. It seems April is released though, as she tells her grandfather Bob Hope that if he tells her father about her arrest, she will never speak to him again. April then meets with Celia and Ray, and she tells them how it went. It's then that Celia issues her a death threat depending on the outcome of the police’s inquiries. But with Bob eager to confess to Marlon, Celia finds out and leaves April shaken when she claims she's used up her last chance - so will April or even Bob face a deadly twist? As for Bear and Anya, Anya's health takes a turn for the worse after she was revealed to be injured after being captured. Bear tends to his friend Anya as she begins to feel unwell with her having a fever that is worsening by the day. Ray orders Bear back to work, but he's reluctant to leave a poorly Anya. Ray promises to get antibiotics for her. Later in the week we see a different side to the villain, as he's overcome with guilt. The character realises how bad a state Anya is in as she continues to deteriorate. When he finds out she has a daughter it makes him feel worse, and he allows Bear to stay with Anya who is drifting in and out of consciousness. As the week comes to an end Anya continues to get worse and Bear vows to look after her, but will Ray get her the help she clearly needs? He may be a little distracted as also next week, he gets closer to love interest Laurel Thomas, only to be interrupted by mum Celia. Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
