Emmerdale ‘s Moira Dingle, portrayed by Natalie J. Robb, has raised eyebrows among fans following a recent health scare, with viewers claiming they ‘know’ exactly what’s wrong with her. The iconic character first graced the renowned Dales in 2009 and has since become a cherished figure amongst the soap’s dedicated fanbase. Moira’s journey on the show has been filled with highs and lows, including marrying into the Dingle family and dealing with her daughter’s drug overdose . Moreover, last year in the well-known village, Moira was hit with the life-altering news of a brain tumour diagnosis, following episodes of memory loss, mood fluctuations, and seizures. She underwent surgery in November to remove the tumour, with samples sent for testing to determine if further treatment was necessary. In December, Moira received the follow-up results from the hospital, confirming she was fine, reports the Daily Star . Since then, Moira has made a recovery. However, the drama continues for the Dingles. Recently, Moira’s husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) discovered their son Nate (Jurrell Carter) was murdered by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth). Intent on seeking revenge, Cain departed the village last week and headed to France to hunt down fugitive John. Consequently, mother-of-two Moira has been left balancing home life and work at Butlers Farm, striving to prevent the business from collapsing after a challenging year. In the Emmerdale episode aired on Friday (October 10), Moira, while working in the field, began to struggle for breath and subsequently collapsed. Her son Matty (played by Ash Palmisciano) witnessed this and rushed over in fear for his mum’s health. Later, Moira attempted to reassure Matty, attributing her collapse to exhaustion and feeling unwell. However, fans are speculating a devastating health twist could be on the horizon, as they believe they’ve deduced what’s truly wrong with Moira. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer queried: “Is Moira getting ill again?”. Another suggested: “Probably something to do with her brain tumour.” A third agreed: “I said the same, I don’t think she’s just overworked.” A fourth speculated: “Killing her off then?” Another simply wrote: “Oh Moira,” accompanied by a crying face emoji. Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
