Emmerdale’s Ross Barton actor Mike Parr has moved fans to tears with a heartfelt tribute to his partner Isabelle Du Plessis following the birth of their first child. Mike, aged 39, shared the joyous news earlier this week that he and Isabelle are now proud parents to a baby girl named Suzie Rose Parr. On Wednesday, he took to Instagram to post an endearing message dedicated to his girlfriend and their new arrival. In a touching note addressed to his daughter Suzie, Mike wrote: “I understand unconditional love for the first time!”. He continued: “Dear Suzie, the last 6 days with you have been better than all my years on this planet combined. Life before you seems so meaningless. “You have changed what the word love means to me. In fact, I’m not sure I understood what it was before I held you. There’s not a day that will go by when I don’t tell you and show you how much you mean to me.”, reports OK! . “I’ll leave no stone unturned in making sure you always feel safe, supported, and loved. I absolutely adore you. Thank you for making us so happy. Love, Dad x.” In another heartfelt post dedicated to his girlfriend Isabelle, Mike expressed: “To my Darling Isabelle. What you have endured over the last 9 months to bring us our beautiful daughter is astounding.” He added: “What was meant to be a beautiful journey was tainted by Hyperemesis. A particularly cruel illness no woman should have to endure. “Almost 9 months of vomiting and nausea and so many other horrid side effects that had you in hospital on multiple occasions, and yet you marched on and gave me the best present a man could wish for. A beautiful, healthy little girl. Our lives now feel complete. “You’ve sacrificed so much. You’ve moved country, changed city, ran a business, started a degree, been an amazing dog mum, and now you’re being the most wonderful Mother. It’s a joy to witness. I’m so so proud of you. “We are now a family, and I swear to dedicate my life to making yours and Suzies better. We’ve had the happiest 7 days, and here’s to a lifetime more. I love you all so much. X.” Mike’s touching tribute moved his 254K followers to tears, with his ITV colleagues amongst those flooding the comments with warm wishes for the newly-formed trio. One admirer gushed: “This is the sweetest thing ever” accompanied by crying emojis, whilst another responded: “This is so pure Sending you loads of love” with a heart. Meanwhile, another supporter penned: “Such beautiful, heartfelt words. Love to you all. Congratulations xx” as someone else chimed in: “Aww how lovely. Congratulations both” with heart emojis.
