Emmerdale legend's death 'sealed' after more than 20 years and fans are gutted

Emmerdale's baddie Celia Daniels could be about to bump off a soap icon, fans reckon. Farmer Celia (played by Jaye Griffiths) first appeared on the ITV soap earlier this year and quickly caused a stir. As the neighbouring tenant of Moria Dingle (Natalie J Robb), the pair went into business together. But it wasn't long before Celia's dark and twisted side was unveiled to viewers. In a shocking twist, it was revealed that Celia is the brains behind the drug dealing operation in the Dales, with Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) being her son. The duo have since trapped and groomed young April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle). And this week, Celia and Ray forced April to visit one of their clients, Callum, to sleep with him. While April was there, a scheming Celia enjoyed a date with April's grandad Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw). Even more shockingly, April's dad Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) also popped in for a drink with Celia - oblivious to what she was making his daughter do, reports the Daily Star . However, things took a dramatic turn at Callum's house when he forced himself on April - despite her saying no. In self-defence, she picked up a vodka bottle and hit Callum over the head, seemingly killing him. In Friday's episode (October 31), a shaken April told Ray and Celia what happened, leaving them livid. Celia instructed Ray to get rid of the body while she returned to her date with April's grandfather. Later, when alone with April, Celia ominously warned the teenager about the consequences of trying to escape her clutches, claiming she now "owns" her. She proposed a sinister version of the game 'snog, marry, avoid', involving the "three most important men in" April's life; Marlon, Bob and Dylan. In chilling scenes, Celia told April: "My version is burn, stab, drown". Fans are now speculating that Celia might actually carry out a murder to keep April in line. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer wrote: "God I hate them Ray and Celia. Feel like busting the door down and rescuing poor April...." Another commented: "The way she told April one of her family members will die if she doesn't do what she says... so vile!" A third suggested that Bob Hope could be in danger: "She might kill Bob." Another agreed, saying: "He needs to get away from her fast." A fifth added: "I did think it was weird why she is getting so close to him. Something up her sleeve." Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
