Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan (William Ash) has reunited with two estranged children over the years, but does he have another secret son? In 2023, Nicky Miligan (played by Strictly’s Lewis Cope) was finally revealed as the son of Caleb and Ruby (Beth Cordingly). A year later, Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) arrived in the village after years away from her parents. In a heartbreaking twist, Ruby found out her own father Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) had fathered Steph during years of sexual abuse when she was a teenager. Despite Steph not being biologically related to Caleb, he has vowed to always be her father. However, some Emmerdale fans are now convinced Caleb has another secret son, and it’s Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle ) . As fans of the ITV show will know, Dylan was introduced at the start of the year while April (Amelia Flannigan) was living on the streets. When she returned to the Dales, she was soon followed by troubled Dylan, who admitted to having a drug addiction. In March, Dylan left the village to check into a rehab clinic funded by Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), leaving April emotional as she bid farewell to her friend. In July, Dylan made a comeback to the village and has since revealed his connection to drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom). Since reuniting, Dylan was also revealed as the thug who was stabbed in the leg with a pitchfork after breaking into Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) farm. After nursing the open stab wound, Dylan squatted in a cricket club that was isolated for the summer before Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) stepped in and gave him a place to stay at Tenant House. Dylan has also started a romantic relationship with April. In recent episodes of the ITV soap, former drug addict Dylan has been given a chance to turn his life around with a job opportunity at Caleb’s depot. While Caleb was willing to give Dylan a chance, relating to the struggles he’s faced while growing up, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) was much more stern and refused to give the troubled teen an easy ride. During the interview, Caleb told Jai: “What’s his background got to do with anything? I didn’t have the best start in life, and look at me now, it’s made me who I am. And do you know why that is? Because I was hungry for it, just like he is.” Caleb added: “In fact, I think me and you have got a lot in common”, as he and Dylan glanced at each other. Jai and Caleb later agreed to give Dylan a job as he plans to lead a straight life away from any criminal activity. As Caleb struck a comparison between himself and Dylan, some Emmerdale fans are convinced the pair are father and son. Taking to Facebook, one person wrote: “I’m starting to think. Maybe Caleb could be Dylan’s dad. What do you think?” A second confirmed: “The odds are quite high in Emmerdale “, and a third chimed in: “I saw it’s a member of the Dingle family Caleb was my 1st choice last week.” While one Emmerdale fan simply wrote: “Definitely”, as another pointed out: “Yes I thought that when he said we are similar.” Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX
