Emmerdale fans 'confirm' villager working with Celia in April's 'killer' twist

Emmerdale fans are convinced that Kev Townsend has something to do with Celia and Ray's empire. Ever since actress Jaye Griffiths made her Emmerdale debut as Celia Daniels, viewers have been trying to figure out just how dark the plot will go. It was revealed recently that Celia is the big boss of the drug world that teenagers April and Dylan have found themselves trapped in, all thanks to Celia's son, Ray. As April finds herself becoming increasingly more distant from her family, the storyline became more harrowing during Thursday's (October 30) hour-long installment. April was sent out to sleep with a man named Callum, and carried out the orders given to her by Celia. However, as the night continued April increasingly felt uncomfortable and ended up hitting him over the head with a bottle. After seeing blood coming out of his head, and Callum unconscious, could April have accidentally killed him? While many viewers felt that the storyline has turned "disturbing", others think that Kev might be involved in Celia and Ray's business. Actor Chris Coghill was introduced recently as Kev Townsend, Robert Sugden's secret prison husband. Due to him being terminally ill, he's been allowed to complete his sentence outside of his cell, and Robert has vowed to care for him until the day he dies. On Instagram, @finnegan1332 suggested: "But what if Ray and Celia are working for Kev keeping his business going whilst inside she did look a little concerned when she saw him about to kick off in the pub" @rosebray51 replied: "Well do u know I thought the same exact thing she couldn’t keep her eyes off what he was going to do. She knew him alright and I bet he’s the one running the gang". Another viewer, @highland_princess_xx added: "yeah I noticed something between them. How did she know he was counting". Viewers will have to wait to see Callum's fate, and April will star in a special standalone episode on Tuesday (November 4). Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
