It’s safe to say it’s a busy autumn and winter on Emmerdale , with huge twists planned and “big” Christmas scenes too. Some cast members have even teased the start of 2026, with a soap crossover and a huge mystery plot taking centre stage. But before we get there, the rest of 2025 is set to be explosive, with some “what the f**k” moments too. Stars including Bradley Riches, Shebz Miah, Lisa Riley, Ash Palmisciano, Beth Cordingly, Rosie Bentham and Bradley Johnson have all spilled the beans. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards, they promised huge moments ahead for their characters and others. From a shocking festive period to unknown futures, character-focussed plots and the future of Robron being teased, there’s some huge moments on the way. It’s been hinted that we may expect a stunt too, while it’s clear some huge episodes are ahead. Christmas is set to be a big one for Emmerdale this year. So much so, Lewis Barton actor Bradley said fans would be saying “what the f**k” when they see what goes down. He shared: “It’s exciting!” before seeming nervous about what he could and couldn’t say. He later confessed he almost leaked a major spoiler, while he teased Christmas would be “silly”. He said: “You’re gonna be like ‘what the hell is going on’. But it’s gonna be funny and it’s a bit of a what the hell.” Shebz agreed: “[It’s] innocent. It’s the light-hearted scenes I feel we need so it is going to be interesting. There’s quite a few things happening. It’s Emmerdale so they’re all changing things! It’s going to be very fun!” Vinny Dingle star Bradley Johnson and Mandy Dingle star Lisa also teased a devastating storyline for Bear, which will run through to Christmas and then past Christmas too. Bradley said: “We’ve got the Bear storyline coming up!” whilst Lisa added: “We don’t know where Bear is. “That’s going to play out all the way til Christmas and past Christmas.” The pair also teased that there was a big storyline and potential stunt coming, with Lisa telling us: “Vicky Thomas is directing it and she did the crash. So if they’ve got Vicky Thomas to do Christmas.” Bradley also teased: “Something big is happening!” There’s plenty more Robron ahead too following Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle’s reunion, as well as the arrival of Robert’s secret husband Kev. Vinny actor Bradley said: “Who isn’t a Robron fan,” as co-star Beth added: “Oh yeah, they’re brilliant.” Lisa said: “When you see a really good cake in the window, like a full raspberry gateau – you can’t have all the gateau at once. So we’re just going to keep giving you slices and maybe down the line, you’ll get the full cake. If we give you the full cake now you’d be like then what?!” Asked if they were Robron fans, Shebz added: “Yeah, of course. Everybody is.” Bradley Riches then joked: “Yeah… we’d be cancelled if we weren’t!” Asked if Robron could survive the Kev drama, he said: “They will.” Speaking of Kev, Bradley J confessed there were funny scenes ahead for the character, and he couldn’t keep a straight face during filming. He told us: “You know what, he’s a great character. He’s such a funny character. “I can’t give anything away but there’s a scene we filmed recently and it was so fun to film. I couldn’t get through it there were tears streaming down my eyes. My shoulders were going. “The audience are going to love it, that’s all I can say but it’s brilliant.” Shebz and Bradley R teased fans would “grow to love” the character, and that there were some great moments ahead for characters outside of Robron. Bradley told us: “There are some twists about him later on. He’s very good,” while remaining coy over what the twists were. Shebz added: “The most amazing part is it embeds quite a few different characters across the soap. “So that’s interesting.” Bradley also shared how perceptions of Kev would change with fans as time goes on. He said: “I think with Kev’s character as well, if you’re a Robron-er you may hate him at the beginning, but you will grow to love him. I feel like you see the character evolve. “You see different things that are gonna happen later down the line. You do grow to love Kev.” Bradley went on: “He’s so unpredictable, Kev. My God.” Shebz agreed: “So unpredictable.” Bradley R also teased details about what’s ahead for his character Lewis, as he settles more into the village. With him seemingly making the move there, Bradley revealed the show would explore neurodiversity as Lewis reveals his day-to-day struggles. On what’s ahead for his character, he shared: “Lewis still hasn’t got a home in the village so I think that’s definitely to come, him finding a house. Maybe with his brother, who knows. “That’s gonna be a fun thing, embedding into the village, making new friends and new connections. Lewis has some scenes coming up with Kammy which I’m excited about as well. “I’ve got a bit coming up about day-to-day struggles and barriers, being autistic and neurodivergent, in everyday life. I’m excited to explore that and for people to feel seen.” Shebz also shared what was ahead for his character. He said: “For Kammy we like to give him in small doses at the moment. He’s got his relationship with Belle and that’s blossoming. There’s some exciting scenes coming up with the relationship. “On the other hand Kammy is supporting Vinny with everything that’s happening. I guess he is sort of being a soundboard for all his struggles. Vinny has got a lot on his plate and Kammy is there to support him, and make sure he’s making the right decisions. “He is supporting him as a friend and that journey and relationship will also progress. Kammy’s just loitering around somewhere on the farm and being a bit of a matchmaker. There’s potential love on the horizon. Kammy’s playing cupid so that’s gonna be exciting.” The cast also teased there were twists ahead. Seemingly referring to Kev but possibly other storylines, Shebz said: “There’s a lot of twists and turns, obviously in Emmerdale fashion. But it’s someting so interesting for the fans. They are gonna be hooked. It’s what we needed with the amount of twists.” Matty Barton actor Ash said: “We’ve got so many exciting things coming up. For a small Yorkshire village, there’s always something going about to happen, whether it’s someone that turns up to the village that’s going to cause some trouble or some sort of disaster.” And for fans of the ITV soap, the drama will be taking place in a completely new location. He said: “There’s something coming, it’s going to be amazing! There’s lots of cool stuff coming up. We’ve had some new sets being built for it too!” Bradley Johnson added: “There’s loads of little bits going on,” while Beth teased: “Always.” when asked if there were twists and turns planned. There’s also a “comedy twist” for Lewis and Kammy. Bradley R said: “We’ve got a bit of a twisty thing but a comedy twist coming up. Kammy just misunderstands everything.” Shebz added: “Fans will absolutely love it.” Rosie and Bradley J teased there was more ahead for Gabby and Vinny, while Ruby actress Beth teased what was coming up for her character. She said: “Think about things that Ruby likes doing.” As co-star Rosie joked: “Killing people,” Beth said: “Other things! That she does regularly… that’s my clue. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that actually. I’ve just filmed some nice stuff but I can’t talk about it.” With new teasers revealed about the big soap crossover early next year involving Emmerdale and Coronation Street , AKA Corriedale, some of the cast hinted at what was ahead, as others shared their hopes to be involved. Bradley J said it would be “drama filled” as Beth and Rosie shared their excitement. Bradley added he’d love his character Vinny to film scenes with Corrie’s Kirk Sutherland, while Rosie wants Gabby to have drama with Carla Connor. She said: “I think Gabby would work quite well with Carla in a scene. Some feisty business or argument. That would be really good.” As Matty actor Ash said the scenes are “gonna be huge”, Beth shared: “I’d quite like to work with Maureen Lipman . That would be fun.” Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
