Emilie and Brady Kiser Get Matching Tattoos As She Returns to Social Media After Son’s Death
Lifestyle influencer Emilie Kiser and her husband, Brady Kiser, appear to have new matching teddy bear tattoos four months after the tragic drowning death of their 3-year-old son, Trigg.
Sydney Smith, the co-owner of Syzygy Precision Tattooing in Scottsdale, Arizona, shared a TikTok video Sept. 23 that showed images of the couple’s tattoos, which were inked on the inside of their arms. Emilie Kiser’s arm also displayed tattoos of a cowboy hat and the name Trigg written in cursive.
“Matching teddy bear tattoos for Emilie & Brady,” Smith wrote in her caption.
Fans shared messages of support for the couple, who also have a younger son, 6-month-old Theodore, whom they call Teddy.
“This makes me so happy to see. I pray for them everyday,” one wrote about the couple.
Trigg fell into the family’s backyard pool in Arizona and drowned on May 12. After six days in the hospital, he died on May 18.
Brady Kiser was home alone with Trigg and Teddy at the time, according to a police report from the Chandler Police Department in Arizona. Authorities said video evidence revealed Trigg was alone for nine minutes, including seven minutes in the pool.
Emilie Kiser spoke publicly for the first time since Trigg’s death in August when she shared a message on Instagram saying she takes “full accountability” for his death. “I know I should have done more to protect him,” she wrote.
“One of the hardest lessons I carry is that a permanent pool fence could have saved his life and it’s something I will never overlook again,” she added.
She returned to TikTok for the first time since Trigg’s death on Sept. 20, telling viewers she “missed, truly, just getting to chat,” while acknowledging “the last few months have been really, really hard.”
“I hope that in coming back and sharing a little bit of what I choose to, I can reconnect with you guys and hopefully help anyone who is going through a similar situation,” she said.
“I’m just doing my best every day to figure this out, figure my life out,” she added.
