An elderly couple, Pankajam and Rajan, were found dead at their house, Pankaja Nivas, at Mankurissi near here on Wednesday.
The bodies of the couple were discovered in different parts of the house. Pankajam, 85, was found dead in a room, while Rajan, 80, was found hanging on the first floor.
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed no signs of foul play or attempted murder. An investigation is on.
