This Halloween, Palma’s Pueblo Español once again transforms into a realm of mystery and imagination for the All Saints’ Day weekend, from October 31 to November 2 2025. Returning under the name El Pueblo Encantado (The Enchanted Village), the festival promises an extraordinary celebration filled with spine-tingling performances, themed workshops, and family-friendly thrills. Tickets are priced at €15 for Friday and Saturday and €10 for Sunday, making it an affordable way for expats in Spain and locals to enjoy three full days of immersive fun. Opening hours run from 4 pm to midnight on Friday, 10 am to 11 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 8 pm on Sunday. A village of magic, monsters, and mystery At the centre of the festivities lies El Pueblo Encantado, a hauntingly beautiful setting where more than 20 actors and performers bring the streets to life. Expect ghostly encounters, enchanted scenes, and interactive storytelling that’s thrilling yet suitable for all ages. One of the event’s highlights is the Tunnel of Terror, presented in two versions – one tailored for children and another with extra scares for adults. New this year is the Monster Stampede, a dramatic parade featuring zombies, ghouls, and eerie creatures accompanied by immersive 3D mapping projections that transform the Spanish Village into a surreal Halloween world. Fans of fantasy will also love the Ludosport exhibition, a dazzling lightsaber combat show blending performance art, martial arts, and sci-fi spectacle. Interactive workshops and family activities For those keen to learn while having fun, interactive workshops are at the heart of the programme. Guests can craft their own magic wands, mix safe and colourful potion ingredients, or solve challenges inside the puzzle dungeon – an escape room experience designed for teamwork and creativity. Budding Jedi can also join a Ludosport class, where instructors teach the art of lightsaber wielding in a playful, inclusive environment. Frightfully good food and entertainment No festival is complete without great food, and El Pueblo Encantado doesn’t disappoint. The food court features a range of food trucks offering delicious bites, from spooky snacks to “bewitched” drinks and desserts. Kids can let loose in inflatable play areas, enjoy a mini Halloween disco with a DJ, or get a makeover at the face-painting station. Roaming performers – including magicians, stilt walkers, and fortune tellers – keep the energy high throughout the weekend. Families can capture memories at the Halloween-themed photo booth or take part in the costume competition, where creativity is rewarded with gifts and prizes. With its blend of art, entertainment, gastronomy, and imagination, El Pueblo Encantado continues to establish Palma as a top Halloween destination in the Mediterranean. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a foodie, or a parent looking for festive fun, this enchanted village promises a weekend full of laughter, mystery, and unforgettable memories. elpuebloencantado.com
