Teenagers born between 1 January 2007 and 31 December 2007 must complete a quiz and apply to the DicoverEU programme to get the free travel pass. The pass entitles people, who can apply alone or in groups of up to four people, to between one and 30 days travel from 1 March 2026. Participants can also get a discount card to save money on accommodation, culture, sports, local transport, or other services. As well as being 18, to be eligible you must be a citizen or resident of an EU member state, or countries associated to the Erasmus+ programme, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Turkey.
