Mindy Kaling‘s new Hulu series Not Suitable for Work is rounding out its cast, adding 12 in recurring roles, including SNL alum Ego Nwodim, Constance Wu (The Terminal List), Victor Garber (Family Law), Greg Germann (Grey’s Anatomy), Judy Gold (Better Things), Harry Richardson (The Gilded Age), Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde the Musical), Stella Everett (Ride or Die), May Hong (KPop Demon Hunters), Bhavesh Patel (Your Friends and Neighbors), Emilia Suárez (Dexter: Resurrection) and Michael Benjamin Washington (Godfather of Harlem). They join previously announced leads Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin and Nicholas Duvernay. Created by Kaling, Not Suitable For Work centers around five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill. Nwodim will play Kate Woodson, the Assistant Head of School at an exclusive, all-girls private school in Manhattan. Wu will portray Vanessa Hsu, an intense and demanding celebrity stylist. Garber is Wes Dryden, the host of a prestigious investigative journalism show. Germann will play David Teitelbaum, Josh’s (Martin) father and the powerful chairman of a major media conglomerate. Gold will portray Paula, a long-time producer at the prestigious Wes Dryden show. Richardson is movie star and internet boyfriend Austin Blanchett. Bell Bundy will play A.J.’s (Hunt) mom, Amy Pascarelli. Everett will portray Vivian, Josh’s (Martin) girlfriend who takes pride in her work as a social worker. Hong is Jocelyn, an associate at the NY investment bank Fisher Stassen. Patel will play Dileep, a VP at the NY investment bank Fisher Stassen. Suárez will portray Elena, a smart and capable intern at The Wes Dryden Show. Washington will play Antoine, a landlord and (aspiring) dancer. Kaling created Not Suitable for Work and executive produces with showrunner Charlie Grandy (The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Mindy Project) and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein. Kaling International produces the series in association with Warner Bros. Television, where both Kaling and Grandy are under overall deals. Garber is repped by Amplified, Paradigm and OAZ.
