The Smith family is saddened to announce the passing of Edward Smith, affectionately known as “Smithy’’, at the age of 82. He passed peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 in Fort Worth Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delita Martin and Edwardo Smith and his son, Allison Smith. He is survived by his wife, Mavis Smith; his children, Tamisha Smith, Jacklyn Smith, Denise Smith, Neil Smith as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends too numerous to mention. Memorial Services are scheduled for Friday Sept. 19, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Christchurch Methodist Market Square in St. Thomas, USVI.
