EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - SNAP recipients and community leaders are gathering in Eau Claire Thursday morning for a press conference. During the press conference, they are expected to demand that Congressional Republicans stop cutting food assistance, permanently extend health care tax credits, and end the government shutdown before SNAP funding runs out on Nov. 1, 2025.
