Lasell University in Newton will be tuition-free for first-time full-time undergraduate students whose families earn less than $100,000, according to a recent announcement.
The program, called the Lasell Tuition Commitment, is funded through federal and state grants, along with university scholarships. It begins in Fall 2026 and is intended only for Massachusetts residents.
“The Commitment reflects our belief that true value in education goes beyond price — it’s about what students gain: career preparation, personal growth, and a supportive community that believes in and values them as individuals,” the institution said on its website.
