EastEnders viewers reckon they've cracked the case of who's been tormenting Zoe Slater. In Thursday's episode (30th October), now available on BBC iPlayer, Zoe's (played by Michelle Ryan) unseen harasser struck again on All Hallows' Eve. Zoe has been living in fear after discovering a defaced photo of herself and her mum, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace). As she pointed fingers at potential culprits, Zoe was taken aback when an old family video featuring her father, the despicable Uncle Harry Slater, started playing in The Vic. Throughout the latest episode, Zoe's suspicion that someone is out to get her intensified as her stalker made their next move, reports OK! . After blaming ex-lover Dr Anthony Trueman (Nicholas Bailey) for the video, Zoe decided to watch it herself. She was accompanied upstairs by her young brother Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), who was seeking answers about his family's history. Initially hesitant to let Tommy view the old footage, Kat eventually decided it was time to reveal the truth about Uncle Harry and shared her childhood trauma with her son. While the video served as a moment of connection for Kat and Tommy, Zoe couldn't bear the sight of Harry and left the room. However, her night took a chilling turn as she settled down downstairs. Awoken by a power cut, she became convinced she heard a noise coming from the Vic's barrel store. Initially, she believed it was her missing moggy, but quickly realised she wasn't the only one lurking in the storage area. The door banged shut behind her and someone seemed to shove her to the floor. Upstairs, Kat and Alfie were jolted awake by Zoe's petrified shrieks. The duo dashed downstairs to discover Zoe trapped in the barrel store, insisting that an intruder had crept in and knocked her down but who "assaulted" Zoe in the barrel store? Whilst some viewers reckon it might be her former partner Anthony stalking her, others suspect she could be displaying symptoms of mental health struggles. Posting on X, previously Twitter, one viewer wrote: "I think what Zoe is going through hallucinations or she might be schizophrenic. # EastEnders ." Another fan commented: "Why do I feel like they might start going down a schizophrenia route with Zoe where she starts hearing voices from the past and continues to imagine things that ain't there. I think Zoe's MH issues are lot more serious then we think. Anthony could be right #EastEnders." A third viewer remarked: "I'm convinced Zoe either has a MH condition BEFORE she returned to Walford or someone really is out to get her (Sam Mitchell, Chrissie Watts, Greg Dolan, Luke - her twin, or one of her children.) I'm leaning towards more a psychotic break - like what Anthony said #Eastenders." A fourth added: "Hmm it's hard to tell if it's really happening or if Zoe is going through some form of psychosis." Viewers will have to wait and see if someone is targeting Zoe. EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am
