Viewers of EastEnders are convinced Zoe Slater's latest drama has been solved. Zoe has appeared to face harassment from a mystery tormentor ever since her comeback months ago. In recent weeks and after a shooting horror, she's told her mum Kat Moon that someone is out to get her. From distressing VHS tapes and defaced photos, to a missing cat and an intruder leaving her scared, Zoe is begging her loved ones to believe her. But amid fears for her mental health, some viewers think there could be more to the storyline. While some fans, and Zoe, are trying to figure out who is out to get her, names of potential suspects have included Anthony Trueman, Vicki Fowler and even Sam Mitchell. But what if it's Zoe behind it all, whether she realises it or not? A theory now being shared by BBC soap fans is that Zoe is doing the harassing all by herself, either to get attention or because her mental health is spiralling. Some fans think she is faking a stalker and has even hidden her own cat, to feign fear. Other fans have wondered whether a diagnosis could be on the way. A fan said: "Zoe is definitely her own stalker and she also got rid of the cat." Another fan said: "I think Zoe is doing all this to her self in EastEnders." A third viewer posted: "I said that all along she damaged the first photo." A fourth fan simply said: "It's Zoe," while another wrote: "I said the same thing, to get sympathy." Another fan posted: "I’m telling you she’s doing it herself." This theory kept on being shared with one fan saying: "She is doing it to herself for attention." But other viewers still wondered if someone else was to blame. One viewer said: "Anthony deffo has something to do with scaring Zoe he is toooooo weird ." Another fan commented: "Anthony is defo targeting Zoe, god knows why, making it seem like she’s lost the plot though." A third fan agreed: "If Anthony is the one messing with Zoe then it feels like they've changed/ruined his character." A fourth viewer posted: "They never do things on purpose. Anthony only came back for the wedding but is still here. I’m getting stalker vibes from him." This was echoed by another fan who said: "It's Anthony." The theory kept on being shared, with a fan saying: "I hope they take Anthony's character down the dark and sinister route." A further fan commented: "This is making me so suspicious about Anthony, I mean. Every time something happens with Zoe, he magically appears."
