Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is in the news for the wrong reasons again this week thanks to some comments he made during a Madden stream late Tuesday night. When asked how things were going by streamer Janky Rondo, Brown said it has been a “[expletive] show” and said he is “struggling,” raising even more questions about his future in Philadelphia. The 28-year-old has expressed very obvious displeasure with his role throughout the year, so one can only assume that Brown was referencing his time with the Eagles while making his cryptic comments on the stream. Brown has caught 31 passes for 408 yards and three touchdowns in eight games this season and is on pace to finish with under 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his Philadelphia tenure. Brown proceeded to post back-to-back 1,400-yard campaigns in his first two years with the Eagles and then registered 1,079 yards in 13 games last season. The three-time Pro Bowler’s relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts has been called into question multiple times over the past couple of seasons, but those concerns have never been louder in 2025. He is under contract with Philadelphia through 2029 thanks to the three-year, $96 million extension he signed with the team in 2024, but it’s looking more and more like Brown’s time in Philly could be reaching its conclusion.
