A baseball fan committed a 'sneaky' move on Wednesday night as he fooled fellow attendees of the Dodgers-Blue Jays World Series clash. Toronto earned a 3-2 series lead with a 6-1 win in LA, with Vlad Guerrero Jr. hitting a solo home run in the first inning. And one fan performed a confusing sleight of hand following the homer when he pretended to throw the ball back onto the field. As seen in a video from Jomboy Media, a fan in an orange t-shirt caught the home run ball from Guerrero. However, the clip shows that he actually pulled a different ball out of his pocket, which he promptly threw onto the field. A nearby Blue Jays fan was seemingly duped by the move, as he looked stunned at the decision to give up the would-be home run ball. And fans online appreciated the stunt as well. 'Sneaky lil bugger.. he definitely had me fooled!,' one wrote on X. 'Hahaha. That's a slick move. Planned out,' another said. 'A tidy piece of business here. Hero in the eyes of Dodger fans but in reality kept the ball worth a few bucks. 'Baller' move,' a third added. And a fourth claimed: 'That ball has to be worth at least a thousand dollars. Throwing it back would be insane.' Guerrero's early home run was not the only one of the game - or even the inning - for Toronto, as Davis Schneider also went deep in the first inning. Kiké Hernández later cut into the Blue Jays' lead with a solo home run in the third inning, but Toronto would respond with four more unanswered runs from there to bring them to the brink of a World Series title. The Blue Jays are looking to end a 32-year championship drought following their last World Series win in 1993. They'll have an opportunity to do so when they host the Dodgers for Game 6 on Friday.
