Another Team of the Week has landed in EA Sports FC 26, and it's safe to say it doesn't disappoint with a new 90-rated midfielder and Lionel Messi's first in-form of the season. TOTW, as it is known, is one of the remaining OG weekly promos in Ultimate Team. The community has felt largely underwhelmed with the quality of recent squads, however, and last week was no exception. Arsenal player Declan Rice headlined the team, alongside AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, while other clubs like Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon were also represented. Excitement has been building in the lead-up to this week's TOTW promo, and this was reflected in Mirror Gaming's official predictions which weren't too far off. One of the players we did get right was Lionel Messi who has been recognised for his superb performance against Nashville where he scored twice and notched one assist. Rather surprisingly, however, Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been left out despite his hat-trick in the win over Celta Vigo last weekend. But that doesn't mean TOTW 9 isn't without its stars aside from Messi, with PSG's midfield maestro Vitinha earning his place thanks to his two assists against OL Lyon. Here's a full breakdown of the Team of the Week 9 squad for EA Sports FC 26 including some rather niche and surprise names... The new Team of the Week is available in packs in Ultimate Team right now with the full squad released at 6pm UK Time / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT on Wednesday (November 12) .
