Advertisement - MULTAN, Nov 03 (APP):In line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the e-Biz Portal has been officially activated to facilitate a transparent, swift, and convenient system for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs). A review meeting was held here Monday regarding the portal’s implementation which was chaired by Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Kareem Khan, with Deputy Commissioners and officers from relevant departments in attendance. Addressing the meeting, the commissioner said that a total of 602 applications have so far been submitted to various departments through the e-Biz Portal. These include 22 from Multan, 89 from Vehari, 145 from Khanewal, and 346 from Lodhran. The Commissioner said that separate dashboards have been developed for Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners, enabling daily monitoring of applications and ensuring greater administrative oversight. He added that the introduction of the e-Biz Portal has significantly enhanced transparency and ease in obtaining NOCs. Now, all NOC applications were being received exclusively through the e-Biz Portal, eliminating manual processes, he maintained. To further assist citizens, e-Biz Information Desks have been established at the offices of all Deputy Commissioners, where applicants can receive guidance and support. Applicants with incomplete submissions were being given specific deadlines to complete their applications. The Commissioner stated that the e-Biz Portal stands as a practical realization of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision for a business-friendly Punjab, promoting efficiency, accountability, and public convenience in government service delivery.
