Dyson's early Black Friday deal sees £550 off 'easy' robot vacuum which is 'better than some industrial' cleaners

You might think it's bonkers to be thinking about the massive deal day that is Black Friday already, but some retailers have started dropping prices on some of their most pricey items. Dyson, market leader in vacuums and hair technology, have dropped their prices on a load of their expensive items a month ahead of Black Friday itself, which is held on November 28 when retailers cut prices of products as the Christmas shopping season gets properly underway. One item Dyson has cut the price on is their 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum . The vacuum is said to have six times the suction of "any other robot vacuum" and the technology used can map your home to help navigate around the areas that need a good old clean. It's also designed to be powerful enough to clear dust and debris from hard to reach places. The Dyson robot vacuum can also be controlled via an app. An alternative to the Vis Nav that you can use via an app and is slightly cheaper than the Dyson tech is Currys' DREAME L40 Ultra Ae, which is both a vacuum and a mop. That can be picked up for £449 instead of £599. One buyer, a dog owner, gave the 360 five stars and says it has cut their vacuuming down from twice a day to once every three days. They wrote: "I can't hide how happy I am with it. It has picked up almost 95% of my apartments [sic] dust and Frenchie's sheddings. I've owned a few Dyson machines and the Vis Nav is the best." Another reviewer said the Dyson was "well worth the investment" and "picked up absolutely everything." Over on Amazon, where the Vis Nav is also on sale for £649 , one reviewer said it was like a "mini tank" and "has better suction than any other Robotic Vacuum I have come across and that would include some industrial ones it’s built like you would expect from Dyson." Those who were not impressed with the item said that the Dyson Vis Nav was awkward when it came to moving up and down stairs and the app was not "intuitive." A second poor review on Dyson's site said there was a problem with the connectivity. They wrote: "Its vacuuming function is great, but the connectivity fails 90% of the time, and it never runs the cleaning programs; it always says it couldn't run them. "When it's cleaning, it gets very disoriented and often doesn't return to the charging port. I don't know if I got a defective one or if it happens to everyone, but I'm returning mine.." Shark also has a deal on their PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro 2-in-1 Self-Empty, Self-Refill & Self-Clean Robot Vacuum & Mop - which is now £549.99 rather than £799.99 - it's been described as "absolutely brilliant" and "amazing" by reviewers.
