Dunelm's 'snuggly' bedding shoppers call 'the best purchase in years'

Dunelm shoppers are singing the praises of a warm and cosy duvet and pillowcase set that’s perfect for the chilly winter months. The Teddy Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set boasts a plush “cloud-like” texture crafted from 100% recycled polyester with ‘irresistibly soft’ fibres. Costs start from £16 (single) up to £32 (super kingsize) and the bedding is available in numerous seasonal tones including fawn, bronze, redwood, sage, olive, cream, duck egg blue, blush pink, and more. The bedding includes button fastening for a snug fit. Customers say it’s “easy to wash” and “dries quickly” – there’s also no ironing required. However, if you’re a warm sleeper, perhaps a brushed cotton fabric would be worth considering as a cosy yet naturally breathable option. Dunelm has recently launched the Soft and Cosy Luxury Brushed Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set from £20 to £35 which offers 22 colours to choose from. Meanwhile, Next stocks the Brushed Supersoft Cotton Duvet Cover And Pillowcase Set which costs from £25 to £55, also featuring a generous shade selection, reports the Liverpool Echo . Bargain hunters needing to kit out a double bed can currently snap up the Grey Brushed Cotton Plain Duvet Set for a tenner from George at Asda – although this one is expected to sell quickly whilst reduced. Dunelm’s “unbelievably comfy” teddy bedding has accumulated more than 2,090 reviews on the website so far, with a high average rating of 4.8/5 stars. One satisfied customer penned: “Simply amazing! So warm, so soft and fluffy, will be all snuggly in the winter! The best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Well worth the money, highly recommended.” Another five-star review stated: “Wrap around hug. So cosy. Warm and easy care and value for money. Wish I’d bought some years ago!”. A further shopper said: ” This is my favourite bedding to keep me cosy and warm during the winter months. Easy to wash and dry quickly, no ironing needed. Love it!”. However, one customer found the thickness to be a drawback, noting: “Much heavier than expected. A struggle to get in my washing machine.” Another review mentioned: “I found this to be too warm to sleep under unfortunately.” This is something potential buyers might want to consider.
