With the cold weather starting to settle in, people will be looking for ways to take off the bitter chill in the air before the heating can kick in. For some, they’re even skipping the need to switch on the heating at all with this handy Dunelm purchase. The £16 Teddy Oversized Blanket Hoodie comes in seven different colour options and is designed to wrap you up in comforting warmth. It is available in black, charcoal, grey, cream, pink, lilypad green, and olive green. Dunelm bosses claim shoppers can “stay super warm and cosy this winter” with the oversized hoodie-style blanket , made with a fluffy hood and sleeves. They say: “Beautifully crafted from polyester fleece, this hoodie is super soft and warm, making it a great present for either yourself or your loved ones.” The website adds that it only comes in one size and that it should “fit most.” Similar items are available from other retailers, like this Oversized fleece Hoodie Blanket from Amazon, which is available in a range of colours for £14.99. Alternatively, this Oversized Fleece Hoodie Blanket in Debenhams has been slashed from £59.99 to £9.99. However, the Dunelm option has been popular with shoppers for several years. Of all the customer feedback, over 1,300 people gave it a flawless five-star rating. One said: “This is keeping me cosy and warm on these chilly autumn evenings in September and October when I’m fighting to survive without heating.” Another added: “Lovely and soft, very warm, big enough to snuggle up in.” A third put: “Super soft and extremely warm. I don’t need to put the heating on, I just put on this hoodie.” Someone else commented: “It’s perfect for lounging, watching movies, or even working from home on colder days. The oversized fit gives it a relaxed, snuggly feel without being too bulky, and the large hood and pocket add extra comfort and convenience.” However, not all the feedback was glowing. A few shoppers did have some issues, like one who claimed: “I bought this around a month ago, and there’s already a hole in the pocket where the stitching has started to undo itself.” Another said: “It looks good but the woolly material comes off in clumps and gets stuck to t-shirts. I would have returned it, but I’ve thrown it out instead.” However, more people have had better experiences with this product. A shopper wrote: “Very warm but light – would definitely recommend and have purchased another.” One more put: “Wonderful! Snuggled into my Teddy Blanket as soon as it arrived. Don’t want to take it off!”
