We have been super spoiled with amazing concerts this year, especially in Minnesota! Keith Urban hit the stage at Grand Casino Arena over the weekend.
Even those that aren’t into country music know that he absolutely rocks the stage no matter where he’s playing and of course, his music is known even outside of the genre.
All of this to say that he is one of the biggest names in music. It was a packed house on Friday (September 26th) and I regretted immediately not going when I started to see videos from my friends. Ha!
His concert even had a fun Duluth connection – one Northland business was asked to create a custom piece for the country star. What an amazing call to get!

This is how you know you’ve made it. What an incredible call to get! Anna Bailey of BB & Friends shared the exciting news ahead of the concert, sharing that they got the call of a lifetime last week.

The call from was Keith Urban’s team who asked the artist to create a piece of artwork for him by his show on Friday night. No pressure at all! At the time, they teased the piece of artwork but didn’t reveal what it looked like just yet.

We didn’t have to wait too long! After the concert, Anna Bailey shared the piece she created, along with her husband Nathanael. Keith and his team picked out one of her famous designs and then they customized it from there.

They added a “K” for Keith and then used the same colors as his latest album to finish it off. It turned out amazing! What a fun treasure and souvenir he has now from his time in Minnesota. The funniest part? It was still drying as they drove to the show! I love it.
This is a huge year for the business and I am loving the fact that Keith reached out to a business in our neck of the woods for a Minnesota souvenir. I bet this will be the first of many pieces they commission for a big musical artist.
