Hey y’all, welcome back to Unfit to Print.
I continue to be angry and disgusted by the left’s response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

SAY HIS NAME
Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler is finally retiring after his current term, something that could have happened much sooner given the fact that he’s been able to do little more than waddle for the past decade.
On Wednesday, Nadler again reminded America why he needs to get the hell out of Congress when he repeatedly botched Charlie Kirk’s name.
During a House Judiciary Committee meeting, Nadler read from a New York Times article claiming the Trump administration is trying to “silence opponents” in the aftermath of Charlie’s assassination. Nadler claimed Charlie wouldn’t support the efforts.
Except Nadler knows so little about Charlie, his views, and his influence in the conservative movement that he couldn’t even get his name right.
“Politicizing the murder of Charlie King to go after free speech is not a legacy I believe Charlie King would have wanted,” Nadler claimed.
If we’re being extremely generous to Nadler, perhaps he confused Charlie Kirk with Martin Luther King Jr., whose assassination has been cited as the closest historical example to what happened to Charlie.
But we all know that’s not what he meant.
He couldn’t take five seconds to learn Charlie’s name — even after reading a New York Times headline that stated his name correctly! — because, like so many other Democrats, he doesn’t care. They do not care that they repeatedly call Republicans fascist, Nazis, Hitler, hate-filled, extremist, or any other label that spurs on political violence.
Just like former President Joe Biden didn’t care that his border policies killed Laken Riley — or, as he called her during his State of the Union Address after being forced into saying her name, “Lincoln Riley.”
Never mind that for YEARS the American public was heckled to “say her name” or “say their names” by Black Lives Matter in response to police killings. It was called colloquially the #SayHerName movement. Stanford has an entire online exhibit about the trend. NBA and NFL players wore T-shirts with the names of black people who had been killed by police.
The names we are supposed to say include Breonna Taylor, whose name was on a warrant because she was believed to be involved in a drug courier business with her ex-boyfriend (her current boyfriend is accused of shooting at police after they knocked), and Sandra Bland, who people claim without evidence didn’t commit suicide and was instead killed by police in some kind of cover-up.
Instead, how about we SAY HIS NAME?
Charlie KIRK.
Get it right next time, Nadler.

Enemy of the people moment…
So true, Geoff. It stinks.
They’re “random” until you go to the emergency room or entrust your kids with them at school…
