Driving Mobility Forward: How Beepz Empowers Buyers and Sellers Alike

With a mission to revolutionize the car industry, Beepz allows anyone to buy a car and empowers sellers to maximize profit. "We noticed that many car marketplaces tend to lean heavily toward one side, either catering to buyers or prioritizing sellers," says Beepz founder and CEO Antoine Berlier. The company steps in to help balance that equation, offering a platform where both sides can find terms that work and move forward with more confidence. The concept began with Berlier's experience supporting people in his community who faced challenges securing personal vehicles. He observed that the barrier was the limited flexibility in existing paths to car access. To help, Berlier began coordinating vehicle listings and connections within his network, making it easier for individuals to find options that fit their circumstances. "Mobility shapes how people live and work," he says. "I wanted to make vehicle access more practical and less dependent on credit scores or significant upfront costs." That early initiative became the foundation for a platform designed to simplify and expand how vehicles are bought and sold. Beepz runs through a mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play, designed to connect buyers and sellers straightforwardly. Sellers create listings with photos and descriptions, while buyers browse and compare options that fit their needs. Once a match is made, payment plans are set up in weekly installments, with flexibility built in. "That means buyers and sellers can work together to set a payment schedule and timeline that fits both sides," says Martin Medus, CMO and Head of Product. For buyers, Beepz offers a way to access vehicles without needing a traditional credit history or a large down payment. The platform focuses on manageable payments, flexible terms, and required insurance and inspection standards. "We want buyers to start using their vehicles right away, for work, errands, or whatever they need, and the platform is built to make that transition smooth from day one," Berlier states. Consequently, sellers can benefit from a model that opens access to a broader pool of buyers. Instead of waiting for lump-sum payments, sellers can receive ongoing installments and can set terms that match their preferences. They also gain tools to choose buyers and add protections against mechanical issues or missed payments. This structure helps sellers move inventory more efficiently while maintaining control over the transaction. Medus says, "We build features that help both sides find arrangements that work. Our process supports easy purchasing for buyers and confidence for car sellers. Beepz intends to make it possible for anyone to buy, but there is a process in which the car will stop if repayments aren't made and, if necessary, returned to the seller." Additionally, Beepz's covers cause damage and major issues if returned, to allow easier relisting. The platform includes a framework for handling returns or repossessions with operational clarity. Technology and verification processes are used to build trust between parties. The app's interface is designed to be intuitive, with listings, messaging, and payment proposals presented in a way that makes negotiation simple and direct. To expand its reach, Beepz runs a referral program that encourages users and industry professionals to bring new sellers to the platform. Incentives are provided to those who help grow inventory and offer more choices to buyers. This program supports the platform's goal of increasing supply to meet existing demand. Beepz has evolved from a grassroots effort into a structured, scalable platform. While its operations have grown, the original focus of making mobility more accessible still guides product decisions. The team prioritizes reducing entry barriers for buyers, equipping sellers with practical tools, and maintaining a balanced process that works for both sides. Fresh off a $1.2 million raise this summer, Beepz is accelerating toward its mission to revolutionize how vehicles are accessed and sold. As the platform expands, ongoing refinements aim to keep it effective for buyers looking for flexible ownership and sellers seeking efficient ways to move inventory. "We're building a system that aims to help people get where they need to go," says Berlier. "When both sides are heard in the design, the result is a marketplace that intends to work better for everyone." Beepz positions itself as a practical solution that evolves with user needs, aiming to make vehicle access and sales more straightforward and inclusive.
