Driver 'seriously injured' in Sparkhill crash

A woman has suffered potentially serious injuries in a collision. Two cars crashed at the junction of Foremans Road and Leominster Road, in Sparkhill, just before 5.25pm on Thursday (Sep 11). Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service treated the driver of one of the vehicles at the scene. West Midlands Police were said to have conducted door-to-door enquiries and collected CCTV. Get breaking news on BirminghamLive WhatsApp , click the link to join WMAS said: “We were called to reports of a two vehicle RTC at the junction of Formans Road and Leominster Road in Birmingham at 5.24pm, last night, and sent two ambulances and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene. “On arrival, crews found a woman, a driver of one car, who was treated for potentially serious injuries before being conveyed to Heartlands Hospital.” There were not said to be any other injuries.
