Shoppers have spotted an unusual new flavour of Doritos crisps which are expected to be making their way into UK stores this week. But while some may be intrigued by the new flavour, many shoppers have appeared to be strongly unimpressed by the unconventional crisp, with one even saying “this is where I draw the line”. Doritos has released bags of limited-edition gingerbread-flavoured crisps, which major supermarket Tesco has confirmed will be available in selected stores this week. The brand has become popular for its well-known triangle flavoured tortilla crisps, with flavours such as Chilli Heatwave, Tangy Cheese and Cool Original. But the sight of Doritos’ new, and unusually flavoured, crisps appears to have divided shoppers so far, with many taking to social media to share thoughts on the unique item. A third shopper, Beth Winbow, then wrote: “I’m a major ginger fan but this is still such a NO thank you from me.” Another, Lauren McGrath, also quipped: “I think this is where I draw the line.” But while many shoppers have appeared quite disgusted by the concept, some fans have expressed interest in trying the crisps for themselves. On Instagram, one fan, Tommy Hale, wrote: “Could see these being pretty business tbh. A nice sweet tortilla works every now and then.” Another, Danielle Rice, added: “Need to try these.” In addition, many shoppers appear to have been left confused by the new tortilla crisps. Taking to Instagram, one shopper, Paul Shawcross, queried : “I mean is there going to be a dip to go with these … can’t imagine it going with salsa.” While another shopper, Louise, admitted: “I don’t know how to feel about this.” Join our Family WhatsApp group HERE
