A Donegal woman has been appointed as interim CEO of the Irish Cancer Society. Edel Shovlin trained and worked as a Radiation Therapist in the UK, Ireland and Australia. She also worked in health tech in Singapore and later in healthcare operations leadership in a global Oncology provider based in Australia. Edel returned to Ireland last year and joined the Irish Cancer Society to continue doing meaningful work. Ms Shovlin says it’s an honour to take on the role.
