Adam McKinley from Letterkenny won a bronze medal at the European University Rowing Championships in Poland, while competing for Queen’s University Belfast.
He partnered Benedict Weis to secure third place in the final of the lightweight double skulls over the 1Km distance.
The pair posted a time of 3:16.01 in the final that was won by University of Aveiro in 3:12.68, with Poznan University of Technology second in 3:14.17.
