Donald Trump’s granddaughter has announced some big news. Kai Trump, who will play at Miami in 2026, is set to compete against the world’s top professional golfers on the LPGA Tour. Trump, 18, received a sponsor invitation to play in The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican Golf Club in Florida, Nov. 10-16. She is currently competing in junior and amateur tournaments on the American Junior Golf Association and the Srixon Medalist Tour. She is currently No. 461 in the AJGA Girls ranking, having played three events this year. “My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour, and I am thrilled to be able to compete in November,” Trump said. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.” Tournament organizers say Trump’s golf game speaks for itself, but she also has more than 6 million combined followers across social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X) which she uses to grow the game. Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., also recently founded her own apparel and lifestyle brand aimed at empowering young women in sports. “Kai Trump has a tremendous passion for the game and is expanding the sport to broader audiences,” said Justin Sheehan, Director of Golf and COO, Pelican Golf Club. “She has a bright future at Miami, and we look forward to welcoming her and our entire tournament field to Pelican Golf Club in November.” “Sponsor invitations are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA,” Ricki Lasky, LPGA Chief Tour Business and Operations Officer, added. “Kai’s broad following and reach are helping introduce golf to new audiences, especially among younger fans. We’re excited to see her take this next step in her journey, Trump joins previously announced tournament sponsor invitations Wake Forest senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen and Northwestern All-American Lauryn Nguyen. Last year, Nelly Korda captured her seventh LPGA Tour win and third win in four seasons at The ANNIKA (2021 and 2022) by three strokes at 14-under par.
