The Miami Dolphins picked up a massive win in Week 8, as they trounced the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 34-10. It was the kind of win that could turn their season around, and now the team could be headed for a second straight win due to major roster news they received ahead of their game with the Baltimore Ravens. More news: Bears Legend Shuts Down Wild Trade Idea for Dynamic Wide Receiver Miami has struggled on defense thus far this season, which was another reason their win against the Falcons was so significant. Most teams rushed the ball down the Dolphins‘ throats, but they all but silenced Bijan Robinson on the ground, only giving him 25 yards. That is another recipe the Dolphins need on “Thursday Night Football” as they are facing another stellar running back in Derrick Henry and a quarterback in Lamar Jackson who can rattle off chunk yardage on the ground. With Jackson’s ability to pass downfield and run, the Dolphins received concerning news on star pass rusher Bradley Chubb. Chubb was suffering from shoulder and foot injuries that cast doubt on his ability to suit up for this pivotal game. Another major roster move for the Dolphins is in the secondary. He suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3 and missed multiple games due to the severity of the ailment. Now, he rejoins the team and takes the roster spot of Storm Duck, who suffered a season-ending knee injury. Marshall was turning heads in training camp and at the start of the 2025 season. His injury unfortunately sidelined his progress this season, but the hope for the Dolphins is that his ball hawk abilities will show back up immediately. The Dolphins need another win to keep their postseason hopes alive. The good news is the Ravens only have two wins, but are also riding the high of a big Week 8 win. Miami has the right roster in place to pick up another win, but they will need to stop this dangerous Ravens offense to do so. For more on the Dolphins, head to Newsweek Sports.
