Police have appealed for the owners of two dogs found injured in a Rotherham park to come forward. Officers said they had responded to concerns about dangerous dogs at Eldon Road Playing Fields, in Eastwood, on 25 October. Initial reports had suggested the dogs were being encouraged to fight each other but when officers arrived only the animals were found. Nobody was hurt in the incident, but both dogs required emergency treatment, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said.
