Doggy Day Care Workers Film Pups, Quickly Spot Which Breed Is Odd One Out

After a day of nonstop playing at a doggy day care, workers noticed all the canines resting, but one breed stood out from the rest, unwilling to let the playing end. Granite State Dog Center, a doggy day care in New Hampshire, captured a video of all the large dogs fast asleep. They sprawled out on the center’s indoor floor, worn out after a full day of playing. But as the camera panned the room, they spotted one canine ready for more. The July 24 TikTok video posted to the account @granitesdc showed a German shepherd named Gunter standing above the rest of the dogs. His tongue hung out of his mouth, as he looked around the room at all the sleeping canines, confused why they were wiped out. A representative from the doggy day care told Newsweek via TikTok that Gunter was “ready to keep rolling.” The caption reads: “German Shepherd owners know this all too well.” Screenshots from a July 24 TikTok video of dogs being exhausted after playing at day care, except one German shepherd. “German Shepherds are a working breed known for high energy and lots of drive,” the representative said. These active dogs need plenty of exercise. An article from the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals said that German shepherds need a minimum of two hours of exercise daily. This can include walking, off-leash exercises in a safe area, playtime and training, spread throughout the day. It is best to give dogs variety to keep them engaged. Dogs who lack exercise and stimulation can start exhibiting behavioral problems, and this breed, in particular, has a reputation for being high-strung. Their boredom can lead to barking or nibbling on furniture. Viewer Reactions The TikTok video reached over 58,800 views and 6,459 likes as of Wednesday, with a majority of viewers being the least bit surprised it turned out to be a German shepherd ready to play some more. The representative said: “German Shepherd owners love it and relate right away because many of them share experiences of their own GSD having high energy continuously.” “German shepherd: ‘Soooo…. Anybody in here gonna do something?!'” joked a viewer. A second person pointed out: “Everyone’s out cold, but the GSD’s just warming up.” A pet parent all too familiar with this breed commented: “This, but the other dogs are me, and I’m trying to sneak a nap on the couch.” Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
