The Los Angeles Dodgers were crowned World Series champions following a wild Game 7 finish at the Rogers Centre. The Toronto Blue Jays were three outs away from stealing the title, but ultimately fell short in the 11th inning of Saturday's game. The defending champions and a great nation going head to head for ultimate baseball glory. The rivalry between Los Angeles rapper Kendrick Lamar and Canadian artist Drake became a hot topic as both celebrities have shown their fanhood of the Dodgers and Blue Jays, respectively. Drake attended Games 2 and 6 of the World Series, both matchups that were played at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. He showed his allegiance to the Blue Jays when he took a shot at Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani. Drake posted a photo of Blue Jays rookie sensation Trey YeSavage striking out Ohtani in Game 5, which gave Toronto a 3-2 series lead. While Lamar was not in attendance for any games of the Fall Classic, the Dodgers played "Not Like Us" throughout the series for player intros and their championship parade. Fox Sports also played into the rap beef following the Dodgers' Game 7 victory as the network shared a graphic of Lamar in a Buick Grand National while Drake is left in the smoke. On Monday, the Dodgers celebrated their World Series win with the city of Los Angeles. The parade began in Downtown L.A. and concluded at Dodger Stadium. Several players spoke in front of a sold out crowd at Chavez Ravine, including utility man Kiké Hernandez. "What's up Dodgers Nation? It's October's very own...Standing here, playing the most games in October for this franchise, for this really big team that has a lot of really big rings," Hernandez said. “My teammates have been pretty humble. But I think it’s time to talk that shit,” Hernandez said. “Everybody’s been asking questions about a dynasty. How about three in six years? How about a back-to-back? Yeah, we’re a mother f’ing dynasty, baby!” Hernandez added, with a mic drop: “And I want to take this time to apologize –– to absolutely fucking nobody.”
