If you’ve been watching The Traitors Ireland and thinking ‘I’d be great at this’, then now’s your chance as it looks like the show will be back for another round.

Already proving itself a hit in other countries, the Irish iteration of the series has had the country hooked and gasping at their screens three nights a week since its launch at the end of August.

Now, with just a few days to go before the finale airs, the biggest suggestion yet that it’ll be back for a second season has emerged, and fans have wasted no time tagging their pals.

Kite Entertainment, the production company behind the Irish show, shared an update on Thursday asking for applicants who would be interested in taking part in The Traitors.

‘Do you have what it takes? If you would like to be considered for future series of The Traitors Ireland please email traitors@kiteentertainment.com for further details,’ they wrote on Instagram.

Dozens of people tagged their friends, with some joking they’d even taken it one step further and contacted the email address for them.

Hughie Maughan, who has plenty of experience with reality TV shows, was among those saying they’d ‘love’ to take part.

2025 participant Katelyn Divilly, who’ll be appearing on the Late Late on Friday, also reacted to the post, saying ‘thoughts and prayers for the team screening all the applications,’ and seriously, what a task!

The first season of The Traitors Ireland has been a big hit, in large part due to the wonderful work of presenter Siobhán McSweeney.

The show sees 24 strangers play the ultimate game of deception, betrayal, and trust in the hope of winning up to €50k.

The Traitors, which is shot on the banks of the Boyne in Slane Castle, has stayed true to its promise to keep us entertained with plenty of twists over the last month.

We can’t wait for the finale to air and to find out who’ll be crowned the winner. Then it’ll be a patient wait for season two… maybe we’ll have to apply…
