This just in: DMG Media has not yet been confirmed as the best in the biz, but we're teetering on the edge. For our excellence in podcasting, DMG Media has received not one, but two nods at the inaugural All-Ireland Podcast Awards, which takes place next week in Adare, Co Limerick. Both Lisa Brady's podcast, Health Me, and everymum's podcast, fronted by Aisling Keenan, have been nominated in the 'Conversation' category. Lisa launched her Health Me podcast in April 2025, with a chat with nutritionist Rob Hobson. At the time, Lisa shared the reason behind her brainwave for the podcast, saying: 'Dr Google should never be a trusted source of true information. Being a journalist and now aged 46, my spirit of inquiry has become less neurotic and more curious. 'However, trying to sift through the modern deluge of all the health misinformation and disinformation that’s out there has never been more difficult. Across ten episodes, Lisa has sat down with big names in the health industry, from sex educator Grace Alice O'Shea and GP and hormone health specialist Dr Caoimhe Hartley to fitness influencer Sarah Catterson. One of DMG Media's more seasoned offerings is the everymum podcast, which has been in circulation since April 2019. Way back when, Aisling kicked things off with a chat with Mairead Ronan about everything, from Dancing with the Stars to motherhood and her work-life balance. Since then, the journalist has spoken to Derval O'Rourke, Síle Seoige, Rosanna Davison, Sofie Skehan, Ailbhe Garrihy, and Chupi Sweetman, to name but a few. In fact, season 18 launched on November 4 - that's no mean feat! As aforementioned, our successful podcasts are nominated in the 'Conversation' category at the inaugural awards ceremony. We're in good company, with Carl and Aisling Mullan's pod, Alright, Pet?, Doireann Garrihy's Laughs of Your Life, and the Talking Bollox podcast also nominated in this category. There are six more categories at the inaugural All-Ireland Podcast Awards: 'Current Affairs and Politics', 'Audio Drama and Documentary', 'True Crime', 'Entertainment', 'Sport', and 'Business and Innovation'.
